i know i’ve said it before, but kate and garrett are so special to us. love is evident, love is with them. its innocent, playful, joyous, and abundant. they are fun and full of life….this day to them was simply about becoming ONE. amongst family and supportive friends they read eachother their personal vows…and it was perfect. ofcourse, i have to say that i love them as well because they totally rock in front of the camera. seriously, they OWN every shot. KATE & GARRETT and FAMILY, thank you so much for having us all the way up in Lynchburg to capture such a crucial day. We enjoyed every minute……
**beware, this post is probably the longest in Kallima Photography Blog history…buckle down folks!
First….Mrs. Kate. I could photograph her all day long…and I did!

I love this shot of the girls relaxing before Kate got into her gown…

COLOR! hello. Kate adores color just like me…

beautiful and special gifts from dad…

I love this shot of Kate. it feels so old-timey to me…just beautiful and classic.

Introducing Garrett…

My time with the boys….

and some time with the girls. i love all the shadows in this shot.

a super touching moment. this was unplanned, but kate decided she really wanted to pray with garrett before the ceremony. no peeking, just praying.

I LOVE shot. kate is so happy, and the looks on garrett and kates dad’s faces are just priceless.

LOVE the kiss!

Oh happy day! Kate was ready to celebrate…

Some bride and groom alone time in downtown Lynchburg. I could have spent a week shooting here….

Pretty sure this is my fave shot of the day. so intimate.

Bridal Party!

Hello! this is my husband Garrett! – kate

Cake and Cupcakes. A pregnant girls dream!!! (I am definitely speaking of myself here.)

We snuck outside quickly to get one last shot in the beautiful natural light….

Love these toast shots. So genuine!

the light was really low here, but i honestly love the grainy texture it gives the shot…so sweet.

ANNNNDDD to bbust out into a little Rihanna “Umbrella” remix….holla!

PSYCHE! she totally faked them out.

and what a grand exit…love these!!!

JUST when you thought I was finished….no. I have to give a huge shout out and thank you to my wonderful husband and amazing second shooter…Ben. I LOVE these images he captured. Even though we have a lot of the same styles and things we love about photography, he never ceases to amaze me in getting the most intriguing shots. Here is some of his take…
LOVE this. did i mention i LOVED this?

Haha. adore this.

Garrett was SO excited to see her coming down that aisle!

congratulations Kate & Garrett:) we love you both!

Sabrena - I found your blog through Kate’s photos on Facebook. You did a beautiful job of capturing her day! I was married about two months ago and my husband has become my second shooter as well. I haven’t met many people who are lucky enough to share their passion with the person they are most passionate about it so I thought I’d say that I think it’s awesome you are able to show off his work and be proud of him too! Happy to make your blog acquaintance! Sabrena
